The Stellar Breath of the Leaves
Lying on the ground, brown and silent,
the autumn leaves, once so lively,
guard a dream among the tenacious branches,
of a soul that yearns, though elusive,
not death, but waiting, a faint desire.
They dream of ascending, light and new,
beyond the gray border of dark earth,
where the cosmic darkness is saturated by light,
and ancient stardust stirs.
Every dying fiber, a lit glimmer,
that one day becomes, in the spread cosmos,
a fragment of gold, hung in the sky.
Thus, in their silent farewell to the sun,
they imagine another distant genesis,
no longer cold ash or vain fate,
but eternal sparks, devoid of words.
The dream of the leaves, a sidereal song,
that stretches from earth to sky,
to become light in an astral ending.
