The Diary of the Waves

The waves write secrets with foam,
wet pages that the wind folds into letters,
each surge a gesture learning to recall the salt,
the moon leafs slowly, like one who knows nostalgia.
On the edges of the world, shells are bookmarks,
they trace pauses, breathing salty memories;
when dawn opens the notebook, a crystal of light falls
a flavor that returns, and the sea smiles, keeper of its secret.
