Shadow in the Dance of the Dream
In silence it brushes, light and fleeting,
a shadow that dances on silent waves,
it touches dreams now growing weakening,
and gets lost among intermittent graves.
In twilight veils, broken and torn apart,
it whispers secrets from times long ago,
through human hearts’ folds, a fading art,
like memory slipping where fingers flow.
Its passing step, an echo of deep yearning,
touches the waters of a world afar,
carrying with it a heart sadly learning,
a message of love that has left its star.
And when the dream dissolves at morning light,
the shadow vanishes, weightless and free,
leaving in the soul a dark enchantment bright,
a mystery remaining, fragile and silent to me.
