Confessions on the Brink

The moon raises its brow and listens.
A cup of forgotten coffee on the world’s edge
speaks in steam of trembling confessions.
The darkness holds it, a veil over the starry shore.
The moon replies with luminous silence.
Lamaro becomes sea and memory;
the waves carry promises that do not judge.
At dawn it brushes the horizon and falls silent, leaving the secret to the sky.
