Breath Among the Cracks

An ancient map lies folded by time,
dust that fades the world’s borders.
The breath of light seeps through the lines,
and cracks open, gates to a faded sea.
Every cut tastes of salt and unspoken promises,
route lines tremble, without signature or time.
Within the folds, voices whisper of horizons,
stories never written that shine at dawn.
The map breathes, weaving past and present,
the light tells of routes not found in notebooks.
We listen, in silence, to the breaths of the routes,
and the world takes shape between our fingers.
