Water Silence

In the water’s photograph, silence grows, slow as algae upon the lids.
Each reflection captures a breath, making it liquid memory.
Memories, little swimmers, weave fervor through time’s glass pane.
The world narrows to an enchanted edge of still lake.
Yet memories learn to swim against the tide’s flow.
They slice the picture’s page with subtle grace, without a sound.
The water is a home where longing breathes ‘midst reflection and sail.
And the photo stays fixed, keeper of a sea that knows no peace.
