Voice of the Void

In the spent shell of a forgotten radio
the void sings, an invisible vibrating thread.
The knobs, cold eyes, turn the infinite;
the voice stitches itself into copper wires.
Through rusted contacts slides the voice,
a song that widens like an iron root.
The room holds its breath and listens,
until dawn breaks the music into memories.
