Threads of Dawn

The dawn breathes without a sound,
through the fingers of shattered statues, a thread of light unwinds.
The thread caresses the cracks, draws living lines
and the marble learns to remember.
Every invisible whisper becomes a note
that breaks the quiet with a cold caress.
Thus the city awakens, slow and deep,
and the invisible noise becomes time that passes.
