Thread Between Doors and Stars

In silence a door knocks softly, like wood’s breath.
An invisible thread holds it to the sky’s beat.
The threshold breathes with the firmament, a silent accomplice.
The room is a sail that drifts between light and dark.
The thread stretches past the night’s crest.
Every crack in the wood invites a star to breathe life.
When it creaks open, the universe bends its ear toward the heart.
Two beats, house and cosmos, in one flowering of light.
