The Silent Vow of Adhesion

Two surfaces, once foreign to each other,
seek in the void a promise found.
Not by sight, nor touch, but the calling
of a stretched veil, like a whispered vow.

And then the seal: a silent instant
where atoms and forces exchange their yes.
No clamor rings, just the binding pact
that turns the “two” to an unexpected “one.”

Thus is woven the invisible warp,
stronger than any voice or lament.
A fragile embrace that becomes unshakeable,
the echo of silence holding it fast.
