The Lightness of the Empty Vessel

It is not absence that now dwells
in the curves of pale ceramic.
But the light breath of what will not flow,
a naked form, no longer craving.

A new air, steady, contained within itself,
slowly expands, without boundary.
It is the memory of water already gathered,
no longer held back, having reached its end.
