Sugar Moon
In the silence of a dreamlike night,
a sugar moon settles softly,
it smiles by brushing, uncertain and frail,
the sweet reflection of a hidden smile.
Among clouds of caramel and cold milk,
the heart ignites with a thousand shades,
like a gesture of spun sugar in the wind,
that dissolves in an embrace of light breeze.
A touch so white, ethereal, velvety,
slips through the folds of thought,
dreams of sweetness and milky promises,
that brush the heart without ever wounding it.
And so, beneath the sugary night,
the smile is lost among sugar stars,
and it will remain there, sweet, enchanted and vanished,
like a sugar petal at the first morning.
