The stolen breath leaves empty houses, through broken windows and dust that breathes softly; it clings to thresholds like light smoke and brushes corridors searching for wind. It becomes a map of stars, drawn on silent walls constellations of brick and doors in orbit; every room illuminates a small comet and silence vibrates with held light. Following this map, the night rebuilds its home we walk among ruins and new lights. The breath returns to inhabit the world, and the abandoned city finds the color of the stars.
