Sea in a Cup

At the bottom of the cup, the sea pours softly,
salt that ignites the coffee and calms the haste.
The cream is a small shore of twilight,
and every sip raises an anchor from a distant day.
Memory dreams of returning home,
where the wind enters through the window and the table is port.
I drink and the route reignites among lights and warm bread,
I will return where the sea smells of home and coffee.
