Map of Absences

Objects that breathe between dust and light,
every corner holds the breath of those who never arrive.
The chair bends its knees of shadow,
and the house remains listening, suspended among unspoken names.
The rooms become a map of absences
the kitchen, with empty cups like small planets,
the bedroom, a frontier of unnamed silences,
the hallway marks routes where the air does not return.
