Lantern Among the Cracks

In the concrete, the night breaks apart,
a small lantern ignites.
Through the cracks, breath re-emerges,
and forgotten names find the light again.
Clandestine dreams germinate in silence,
roots of paper and a threshold of iron.
Among the graffiti, a lost promise
sprouts like a secret plant.
Memory illuminates uncertain steps,
transforming shadow into a map of time.
Every spark opens a window to tomorrow,
and the city breathes, tenacious and curious.
