Hidden Moon in the Past

Within the folds of time it hides,
a silent smile of ancient moon,
barely brushed by a memory,
that dances through the shadows of lost stars.
Its glow is a whisper of silk,
that grazes the folds of an hour gone by,
keeper of secrets in the heart’s dark depths,
star that shines beyond all waiting.
Hidden among threads of memory and dream,
reflects a smile that cannot be seen,
but in the silence it is still perceived,
like a flash that crosses the void.
And in the silence, the moon whispers
Even hidden, my smile lives,
illuminating the folds of time,
for those who know how to hear its sweet malady.
