Echo of a Fallen Star

Like a swift sigh, a light unfurled,
A golden scratch across the deepest night.
From endless dark, a fading streak is drawn,
An ephemeral dance that floods the cosmic sphere.
That fleeting passion is no mournful cry,
But a silent longing that the heart must hide.
Perhaps a memory of former grace,
A whispered prayer revealed by empty space.
Does it yearn for endless arms to hold,
Or just an echo where the heavens fold?
One final moment, a delicate trace,
Before the dream dissolves into empty space.
