Echo of a Broken Summer

In the silence of a shattered dream,
a whisper coils, faint and concealed,
like a flower that sprouts from the past,
among shades of what can no longer be faced.
A breath of warmth that begins to fade,
in the cold breeze of a broken memory,
a promise the wind will not send,
but the soul feels it, with an abandoned heart.
And thus is born a summer without time,
from the heart of one who has lost and found,
a melody the heart tries to guard,
among shattered dreams and a new desire to be reborn.
