Breath of Stars

Time’s breath, gathered in pockets of a fallen star,
through the folds of cosmic fabric grazes moments gone by,
it slips slowly, like a parchment sealed by the breeze.
In every fold, a tiny eternity sleeps,
the galaxy’s heartbeat pauses, then starts weaving hours anew,
and we, the witnesses, guard this breath till the dawning light.
