Breath of Pixels

In the heart of the pixel city, plants are circuits glowing with light,
they know no soil nor roots, but pulse with a data sap,
each leaf breathes a note beating through the concrete.
The breath traverses neon corridors, sliding through digital signatures,
silicon branches graze the signs, igniting a whisper of wind,
the night turns into artificial photosynthesis, a green that doesn’t exist but feels.
Stories of a nature that doesn’t exist, yet hears a code-oak singing the names of footsteps,
a river of pixels whispers secrets to the half-opened windows,
and the city, in silence, learns to translate that breath into memory.
When the day arises, the breath expands and shifts pitch like a radio,
it stays within the digital bodies, warm and light, ready to start anew,
an imagined nature that remains, palpable only deep within the city’s core.
