Time on Cards

Time climbs the cardboard walls,
minute steps mark the fragile boundary,
and breath suspends the collapse.
Every crack is a promise of rebirth;
a fissure that breathes light and future,
within it, a seed prepares for dawn.
The castle trembles, but does not yield completely,
time re-stitches fine threads between the fingers,
and the shadow becomes a ladder toward the light.
Should the façade collapse, a different form is born,
more fragile and more tenacious, a new faith,
and the house of cards learns to breathe, ready to be reborn.
