The Silver Key

A memory awakens, light as the moon
a silver key enters, silent
into the lock never opened, time holds its breath
The lock is a night that listens
the key whispers promises of light
what time has forgotten asks to return
Sleeping voices, names and perfumes re-emerge
objects that slept within the dust ignite
every detail aligns with the beat of the present
If the door opens, it is to listen before judging
memory does not demand, but accompanies the path
and time, deep down, remembers what was hidden
