The Dance of Hours
In the eternal sky, a dreaming clock,
among falling stars it coils its song,
a fusion of light and dancing time,
grazing the void with steps so strong.
Time bends into rings of endless might,
cradled by a pulse of stardust bright,
it sighs for clocks that vanished from sight,
where dreams and time dissolve to ash and blight.
Its pendulum brushes the face of night,
through music made of shards and broken light,
a gentle dance, a secret taking flight,
within the grasp of hearts held too tight.
And in the silence that embraces all,
time pauses, vanishes, and answers call,
while its great workings through star-fall unsprawl,
and the dream of endless dance consumes and falls.
