Sea of Stone

In the stone shell, the sea breathes,
waves that turn a page of water;
every mark recounts forgotten names
in the silence of the sleeping city.
The house bows to the tide’s rhythm,
words etched upon the salt-stained floor;
when the moon reflects upon the water,
memory remains, engraved within the rooms.
