Where dreams take the shape of words.
What you’ll find here is a journey made of words, images and sensations. Each poem is a small world to explore, a moment of reflection, or a way of saying what sometimes can’t be said otherwise. Take your time to read, to feel, and to let each line carry you.
Every poem published here comes with an explanation: a close reading that follows its images, its choices of sound and rhythm, and tries to say why one word was preferred over another. It is not a translation into prose, and it does not claim to lock the text into a single meaning: it is an invitation to read the poem again with one more eye, and to disagree where disagreement is due.
The lines come out of small things — a patch of light on a wall, a word overheard in the street, a silence that lasts a moment too long — and try to hold them before they pass. Some speak of distance and waiting, others of memory, others of that thin border between dreaming and waking from which the site takes its name.
The list below runs in order of publication, from the most recent to the oldest: you can scroll through it, or step into a poem at random and follow the links at the foot of the page, which lead to other texts close in theme or in tone. There is no right route.
The site is free, with no registration and no comments: you simply read. If a line stays with you, or if you want to report a typo, the contact page is the place to write.
