Invented Sail

In my chest, memory breathes, a delicate sail,
Through salted memories and winds yet unborn.
An invented horizon spreads, paper upon the sea,
And breath fills it up, making it sail in the quiet.
Each breath becomes a sail that captures the light,
Time and sea graze together on a timeless course;
Memory remains both sail and sea, in this crafted space,
And the horizon breathes with us, a frail home of wind.
