Breath on a Balance

The room’s secret breath holds names,
dust that tastes of vanished steps.
Furniture and curtains become archives of memory,
a time that watches from the margin.
Then the breath bends toward the unborn dawn,
a blade of light brushes the walls and promises.
The future touches the threshold and says enter,
and the room learns to breathe with tomorrow.
