# Names to the Wind

The wind collects invisible names
of lost objects, without signature or trace.
A key without a door, a bottle without a sea.
It writes them on the clouds like labels of light,
it whispers them to windows that remain open.
Thus memory finds a home in a voice that cannot be seen.

## Explanation

This composition is not simply a description of an atmospheric phenomenon, but rather an elaborate allegory about the very nature of memory and the ephemeral. The wind here does not act as a random physical force, but rather as a narrative agent, a silent custodian that catalyzes what human experience tends to lose: context, the original function of objects, forgotten names.

The beating heart of the poem resides in the construction of existential paradoxes. When speaking of "a key without a door" or "a bottle without a sea," one is not describing an object lost in the material sense; rather, one is evoking the absence of meaning itself. These objects have been stripped of their *purpose* and, consequently, are reduced to mere names, pure entities that exist only in the conceptual or mnemonic sphere. The poetic act consists precisely in elevating this absence into poetic matter.

The wind, therefore, becomes the medium through which time's irreparable gap is temporarily filled.
